UPDATE 07/07/06: SO... news is a little slow. Make sure to visit our MYSPACE to get the latest tour dates, including our upcoming tour with CHEAP SEX and our first HOME show of 2006 - Aug 11 at Chain Reaction. We're working on our next album already. I'd tentatively say that it'll be out in mid 2007. If you haven't got a copy of NO SOLUTION, get it now!
UPDATE: THE SCARRED HAS UNFORTUNATELY HAS TO PULL OUT OF THE JULY DATES SCHEDULED WITH THE MESSENGERS. THE GUY WHO BOOKED THE TOUR HAS DISAPPEARED AND THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH SHOWS BOOKED TO MAKE THE TOUR POSSIBLE, ALL DATES HAVE BEEN RESCHEDULED TO SEPTEMBER, AND THE NEW DATES WILL BE POSTED ONLINE SOON!
UPDATE 05/04/06: NEW INTERVIEWS ONLINE - Skratch Magazine has posted part of the interview from their new issue online! And so has Eye Candy Girls, a UK website for punk pinups. Also, pick up the new copy of Under the Volcano (#91) which has a sweet spread. Over and out!
UPDATE 05/04/06: NEW ALBUM ON SALE! - Whoa! Forgot to mention something else - We've updated our online presskit, as well as our Merch section and Band Info section on the website. You can now go the merch section to buy Vynil or CD versions of the new album, or the split 7" from 2004. Also, some guys from Georgia started a "The Scarred" myspace group. Check that out here. Also, pick up the new Under The Volcano, which has a review of the new album, as well as an interview. And if you haven't already, make sure to pick up Loud Fast Rules #3, which has a big interview with The Scarred, and also, LFR#4 which will be out soon, which reviews the new record.
UPDATE 05/03/06: NEW ALBUM ON SALE! - Hey Everyone. The new record is on sale almost everywhere now. Took awhile for it to get to all the stores, but it's really easy to find now. Also, you better hurry up if you want that colored Vynil, before it's all gone forever!! In fact, even the regular black vynil isn't going to last long. So head over to punkutopia.com and pick up a copy!
UPDATE 04/18/06: NO SOLUTION AVAILABLE NOW! - THE SCARRED'S NEW ALBUM IS NOW AVAILABLE IN STORES AND ON THE WEB! Pick it up on CD or on VERY LIMITED color vynil. You can get the colored vynil on PUNKUTOPIA.COM and here's just a few places you can pick up the CD format online! UPDATE 03/21/06: RELEASE DATE PUSHED BACK! - APRIL 4TH will be the official release date for NO SOLUTION because the Mastering guy took too long. BUT - you can go to PUNKCORE.COM RIGHT NOW and listen to the entire album for FREE on PUNK CORE RADIO!
UPDATE 03/09/06: JUST BACK FROM LONDON! - And guess what we got on our doorstep when we got home? The new record. It looks BAD ASS. It'll be in stores March 21, so be on the lookout!! Things are shaping up for the tour dates, so make sure you check our tourdates page, and our myspace for up-to-the-minute changes!! DVD SCREENING PARTY THIS SUNDAY! On Sunday, March 12th, our friends at Black Wax Records in El Cajon CA will be hosting an exclusive DVD premiere of PURE PUNK ROCK . The DVD will be premiered on a super big 8 foot screen and projector at Black Wax Records. In addition to the screening of the film there will be Punk Core giveaways and some special guest appearances by CHEAP SEX ,THE SCARRED and THE HAVOC as well as the film's creator, Lewis Ingham. UPDATE 02/08/06: PURE PUNK ROCK DVD PRE-ORDERS! - Just announced today, Punkutopia.com is taking pre-orders for the new PURE PUNK ROCK DVD. The first 25 pre-orders will also receive a free poster! UPDATE 01/17/06: HELLO! - First update of the new year. All the album artwork is in and we're just counting down the days until the release on March 21. We're planning an album release show and booking our US tours right now - so check out our tour dates for March/April, and also the tentative schedule for The Cheap Sex/Scarred tour in August 2006. And be on the lookout for the Pure Punk Rock DVD from Punk Core Records, which is coming out any time now and will include footage of The Scarred at rehearsal and some interview stuff. UPDATE 12/23/05: NEWS - The new album street date is 03/21/06. We put up some MP3s on Myspace, but you'll have to wait and see the best stuff on the record! All in all it's definitely the best thing we've done so far! So check out the MP3s online at myspace (link on left).
UPDATE 12/15/05: NEWS - Many of you know we have a shrunken human head from ecuador. His name is Shrinky and he has been on tour with us many times. Many of you have had the chance to kiss and love him, but due to strange illnesses associated with pickled and dried human skin, we decided to donate Shrinky to a better home. He now resides with the California Institute of Abnormal Arts. You can go to one of their events, and if you do, make sure you ask to see Shrinky!

UPDATE 12/07/05: UNFORTUNATELY we will not be able to make it to Arizona this weekend for reasons outside our control, Sadly, there was an unfortunate incident at Skrappy's this last weekend. We hope that Kathy and all the Skrappy's crew are doing OK and will be able to start having shows again soon!

UPDATE 11/24/05: 2006 will see the Scarred's new album, "NO SOLUTION" released on Punk Core Records! 12 Brand new tracks of Punk Rock. The album is in the process of being Mixed and there should be some sneak peeks coming soon. Stay tuned!
UPDATE 10/18/05: NOVEMBER 6TH we are playing at the SHOWCASE THEATRE in Corona, with the legendary BLITZ from the UK, as well as TOTAL CHAOS and ENDLESS STRUGGLE. We're putting this up here on the front page, because we want to make sure you guys can get tickets, because this is one night only, and come on, BLITZ is to good to miss! You can get them pre-order for cheaper at ticketmaster HERE.
UPDATE 10/11/05: GOOD AND BAD NEWS! Our upcoming tour has been totally screwed up by the booking agency, but we've taken matters into our own hands and have the following dates still confirmed. ANY OTHER dates you see anywhere we are NOT playing. THIS WAS NOT THE DECISION OF THE BAND, but something that fell into our lap. We're still going to make a run for these cities, but Any other cities we did not book and have no control over. Sorry for the confusion -- In other news, The record is nearly wrapped up, so expect some bitchin' updates on that front soon!

UPDATE 9/20/05: Great Show the other night in Anaheim, CA. Thanks to everyone for coming out and having a great time with us. Not much news, except that more tour confirmations are coming in and on the way! Also, more tentative dates are up on our tour dates page! Our 7" is now available at Punkutopia.com - so go there if you haven't already picked up a copy! The new record is coming along great and we start back up in the studio next week to finish it up. Plans are for an early 2006 release, so stay tuned!
UPDATE 9/04/05: Ahoy! - Please welcome the newest member of the Scarred, rythm guitarist ANDY WHITE, formerly of KTP. He'll be joining the Scarred army and his first show with us is september 16th at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA with THE HAVOC and the NEON MANIACS! So make sure you ALL come out and show him what California's all about!!
UPDATE 8/17/05: Alright - we have some more news for you. As many of you know this band started as a four piece, but we had a guy bail out. Well, after an extremely long and very meticulous search, we've found the fourth member of The Scarred. It's a secret for now, but we will have a new rythm guitar player at the show on September 16th, so watch out!

UPDATE 8/05/05: THE BIG NEWS! - The Scarred has just been signed by Punk Core Records of New York. This is the label that has put out such bands as Cheap Sex, Defiance, The Virus, Casualties, and many more! Our first album for Punk Core should be in stores sometime in early 2006, stay tuned for more updates and click the skull in the menu above to go to PUNKCORE.COM
UPDATE 8/01/05: NEW WEBSITE - Things will be missing and frickin' wierd for a few days with the site, but everything should be up and running smoothly in no time. We have a ton of big news and plans coming up so stay tuned!
