UPDATE 03/10/07: Thanks to everyone who came out Saturday at the Juke Joint, and to everyone in Hollywood and San Diego last month! We don't have any shows coming up for the rest of THIS month, but make sure to check out the REZUREX at the Showcase Theatre March 28, and at the LD Fest in Hollywood March 29!
UPDATE 12/01/07: HOME. Tour cut short due to lack of funds. The Scarred is home at least until we can record and release a new album. Stay tuned for more.
UPDATE 9/13/07: SORRY: It took a long time to update. We've been working hard securing dates for our solo USA tour in November/December, and been out sweating balls in Monkey's garage getting our tour drummer, Ben9000 up to speed. A lot is on our plate at the moment though we've hit a delay with studio funds - we'll keep you updated as things progress/degress. Check out myspace for our NOV/DEC US TOUR DATES
UPDATE 8/23/07: NEWS NEWS NEWS: Tomorrow night our friends THE HOLLOWPOINTS will be at Surf City Saloon in HB, and the following day THE STITCHES will be at the Juke Joint in Anaheim - we'll be at both shows! STUDIO UPDATE VIDEO #3 Has been uploaded on youtube. We're waiting to hear back and see if we got a spot on a US tour with a very well known band, but we can't say who until we know for sure.
In the meantime, we are booking a WEST COAST series of dates that we need a lot of help on. Check out Myspace (link to the left) for more info.
ALSO - we're working on a PLAN B in case this other US tour doesn't work out, so we are looking to line up promoters in the following cities; Phoenix, Tucson, El Paso, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Little Rock AK, Memphis TN, Nashville, Dalton, Atlanta, Savannah, North or South Carolina, Richmond VA, Baltimore or DC, New Jersey, New York City, Long Island, Philadelphia, Albany, Buffalo, Ohio, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Chicago, Quad Cities IL, Missouri, Kansas, Denver, and Albuquerque NM. UPDATE 6/11/07: PRESS RELEASE FROM PUNK CORE: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: (MONDAY JUNE 11th 2007) THE SCARRED CANCEL TOUR
Due to an accident that has left guitarist/vocalist Justin Willits with a broken ankle THE SCARRED have been forced to cancel their upcoming appearance on the Clampdown 07 Tour. Tour mates KTP, and Vengeance 77 shall soldier on seeing the tour until its end. In light of these unforeseen circumstances, THE SCARRED plans on rescheduling their US summer dates for August to make it up to fans who had eagerly been awaiting the band’s arrival.
Based out Southern California, THE SCARRED have been belting out inspiring 77 roots punk rock since 2003. First turning heads in 2004 with their debut album Repression (which was recently reissued on Bouncing Betty Records), THE SCARRED have made a name for themselves as one of the hardest working bands in Punk rock today. 2006 saw THE SCARRED unleash their sophomore effort (their first for Punk Core) No Solution upon the masses which was met with fervent acclaim from critics and fans alike. THE SCARRED are currently finalizing the material for a new album that is tentatively scheduled for an early 2008 release.

UPDATE 4/30/07: WHAT AN UPDATE!! Justin & Isha are now proud parents of a new baby boy named London, who was bron last month. As you can imagine, Isha's been recovering, but THE SCARRED is beginning to practice again and get vamped up for the upcoming CLAMPDOWN TOUR and afterwards will be heading into the studio to lay down tracks for the new album. A demo from one of the new songs will be posted on the SCARRED myspace for 24 hours starting tonight, so go check that out!
CHEAP SEX has announced they have broken up, after the death of their guitarist Chris Wick, who was still very close to the remaining original members, who have decided that they need time to grieve, and then to move on to other projects. We wish them the best of luck with our deepest sympathies to Chris' family and friends. While we didn't know him very well, he was really nice to us, and of course, Cheap Sex has done a lot for THE SCARRED, for which we're really sincerely greatful.
THE SCARRED is also looking for a temporary drummer for two weeks on the west coast in July or August. Please get in touch if you'd like to audition.

Justin's Birthdays is coming up March 25. Their baby is due any day now, and Monkey and Justin have both been working hard on new material, making demo tapes and getting ready to record after tour.
And finally - a big announcement - we are proud to announce that BOUNCING BETTY RECORDS of Chicago (Street Brats, The Infected..) is putting out a RE-ISSUE of our first LP, "REPRESSION" on CD with almost an entire live show, and previously unreleased tracks. Go to their site for more info!!!

UPDATE 11/27/06: I'M Rapidly wrapping up writing (man say that 10x fast..) the album tentatively titled "Secret Weapon FM" right now. The album will have at least 12 songs, and there's been talk of a 'special edition' with extra b-sides, possibly as many as 16 songs.. but we'll see. UPDATE 09/17/06: HOME AGAIN from some vicious touring with Cheap Sex. The Rumors are true, and our Drummer Isha Rose is taking a short break from the band, because she's expecting a new baby in March. BUT we have some great temps lined up, and we'll be back on tour in December to wreak Havoc all across the USA. Also, we're looking into booking the CLAMPDOWN U.S. Tour next May. The 2007 edition of the tour will feature some great bands. We want to try and have each day of the tour be a full day of bands!! Festival style!! So if you think you can rock a show in your town, and get ALL the local bands to come and hang out, get in touch with us now!!
THE SCARRED is also almost finished writing a new full-length album. Recording is set to Begin shortly after Thanksgiving. According to the singer, it's going to be some of the best material yet! Make sure to check out PunkUtopia.com - the last of the limited color LPs are almost gone, and they've also got Shirts, 7", and more of The Scarred!
UPDATE 08/02/06: THE SCARRED kicks off touring with label-mates CHEAP SEX in 9 days, at CHAIN REACTION in Anaheim. We want to let everyone know that after tour wraps up in September, we're going to buckle down and get back in the studio. We have a lot of new material we're really excited about.
