The Scarred formed in 2003, but was really the product of the band members knowing each other and working in other bands since 1999. Finally finding their own voice, THE SCARRED was born. With heavy Pistols/Clash-era influences, as well as growing up with great Southern California bands such as DI, TSOL, and Adolescents, The Scarred quickly carved themselves a niche, and were able to nab shows with great bands like Menace, Greg Ginn, Naked Aggression, Total Chaos, Cheap Sex, Monster Squad, Skeptix, and many, many, manymore. Hitting the ground running and touring non-stop, The Scarred self-released their debut full-length, which quickly sold out. They also released a split with new Jersey's void control on Puke N Vomit records. In late 2005, the infamous Punk Core Records took notice of the band's endurance and picked them up just in time to release their sophmore album, "NO SOLUTION." The Scarred is a tight unit continuing to blitzkrieg the country, bringing the sounds of suburban angst and alienation from coast to coast. The next few years are sure to see even more chaos.
